AYAPUMA SAMAY VISION QUEST 2026

From August 7 to 21, 2026, we will gather once again at AyaPuma Samay to share the Vision Quest, an ancestral ceremony of prayer, silence, and deep encounter with nature and spirit, held in the ancestral territory of the Karanki people, at the foothills of sacred Taita Imbabura.
The opening ceremony will begin on the night of August 7, and the planting of the vision seekers on the mountain will take place on August 8. During the following days, the harvests of the 4-, 7-, 9-, and 13-day prayer seekers will be carried out, accompanied by daily temazcales, songs to the directions, community work, activities in the garden, the biofertilizer workshop, and support for the agroforestry projects of AyaPuma Samay.
On August 15, a Natem (ayahuasca) ceremony will take place, guided by Galo Wampiu, spiritual leader of the Shuar Nation.
On August 19, we will share a power walk and offerings to the spring and to the AyaPuma Stone.
All prayer seekers, families, and walkers of the spirit are welcome.
