TRADITIONAL SHUAR FIRE AND NATEM CEREMONY

At the ceremonial altar of AyaPuma Samay, we will once again welcome our brother Galo Wampiu, uwishin of the Shuar people and spiritual guide of the Ecuadorian Amazon, who will share the sacred medicine of Natem (ayahuasca) within the ceremonial camp of the Vision Quest 2026.
The ceremony will take place on August 15, 2026, and will be open to those who wish to participate with respect and awareness of the spiritual work that will be held on the mountain together with the fasting vision seekers.
The Shuar ceremonial fire, ancestral chants, and the medicine of Natem will open a space for introspection, prayer, and deep connection with nature and spirit.
Those participating should coordinate their arrival to AyaPuma Samay in advance. We recommend bringing warm clothing, blankets or cushions for the ceremonial night, and contacting us ahead of time to organize transportation and logistics.
After the ceremony, a community breakfast will be shared.
We ask all participants to honor the fasting and prayer process of the seekers on the mountain, to care for their personal integration, and to maintain harmony with the ceremonial community that sustains this prayer.
